Hawaiian Tropic has expanded its range with sun lotions designed to make skin sparkle.
Shimmer Effect, rolling into Tesco and Superdrug now, offers UVA and UVB protection and comes in SPF8 and SPF25 variants featuring the brand’s signature tropical scent (rsp: £13.99/180ml).
The formula contains light-reflecting mica mineral, which is said to make the skin glisten in the sun.
As well as protecting from sunburn, the lotion also contained moisturising agents to help protect skin from ageing, said Hawaiian Tropic.
The brand added that it was hoping to recreate its “great success” in the US, where it claimed Shimmer Effect had gained a cult following.
