Expert's verdict...20/25
?Spritzz Up! is aimed at the female market, and the girls in the office produced some favourable reviews. Initially they were put off by the packaging, which "doesn't really say what it is" and "looks more like a mixer". But after pouring a few glasses mixed with lemonade, it really won them over. The white performed better, was much easier to drink and generally more fruity. The red was compared to flat cola . This could be a real success, a product that brings new life to the tired Vermouth market.

?The bold colours on the packaging gives Spritzz Up! quite a cosmopolitan look. The usage instructions also come in handy. The drinks smell nice and fruity. The taste is subtle and not as overpowering as similar offerings, but it leaves a slightly tangy aftertaste. The white was far tastier than the red. Still, I would buy this again, especially when entertaining. When mixed, this tipple goes a long way.

Noodle Wok Company: Blue Dragon Launch Price : 99p per bowl Today's Price: 99p per bowl Acid test verdict: 26/50
Since launch, Blue Dragon's Noodle Wok has managed to secure listings in Waitrose and is set to hit Asda next month. It is also available from C&Cs and c-stores.
It is an achievement, given the steep decline of the total snack noodle category, which has faced shifting consumer demands. Product manager Jack Wallace says: "The total snack noodle category is down 11% year-on-year, with the ethnic instant noodle market dropping at similar rates. However, we have seen an increase in share."
Blue Dragon brings out a new variant - sweet chilli chicken - this month.
