Sports nutrition brand Bio-Synergy has secured a Waitrose listing for its newly revamped Active Woman supplement range.
Activate, Energise, Revitalise and Define have rolled into 100 stores as part of the retailer’s BrandsNew accelerator programme (rsp: £17-£20).
A growing number of women were seeking “practical nutritional support while using or transitioning away from GLP-1 weight-management medication”, said Bio-Synergy.
The Active Woman range had therefore been redesigned to “provide a simple way for women to support their nutrition, strength, hydration and lifestyle goals without complicated routines”, it added.
Activate promises “a convenient source of protein” to contribute to the maintenance of muscle mass, while Energise combines creatine monohydrate and marine collagen peptides. Revitalise is a “refreshing electrolyte and vitamin drink for active days”.
Rounding out the range, Define combines glucomannan, green tea, chromium and caffeine in a capsule format. It was “designed to complement an active, balanced lifestyle”, said Bio-Synergy.
“As a regular Waitrose customer, I have always felt it was the perfect home for the Active Woman range,” said Daniel Herman, founder and CEO of Bio-Synergy. “I’m delighted that the Waitrose team shared my vision and recognised the opportunity to bring effective, straightforward nutrition to more women.”
Bio-Synergy’s wider range of wellness and sport nutrition products are sold in retailers including Selfridges, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett and Sports Direct.
