Clarence Court has added Burford Buff eggs to its range.
The “fabulous eggs by fabulous birds” have a maize-enriched diet that produces eggs with a “rich and creamy flavour”.
The Burford Buffs (rsp: £3.40/six large eggs or £4.50/10 medium eggs) have a light brown shell and bright yellow yolk.
The eggs, which are “an ideal egg for all occasions”, have launched into Waitrose.
“We’re delighted to welcome the Burford Buff into the Clarence Court range,” said Adrian Gott, CEO of Clarence Court eggs. “With rising egg occasions from consumers during the week, the launch aims to add value to the category by capturing more spend on weekday egg occasions to the premium egg segment.
“Clarence Court already offers the widest range of eggs sold in Britain and the Burford Buff, with its rich sunshine yolk, will yet further enhance the range.”
Clarence Court has said it aims to provide the pinnacle of both health and welfare for its hens, which lay at their own natural speed, giving the eggs a unique flavour.
