A new brand based on a range of world recipes is poised to launch into the premium snacking and lunch market. Going Native is a range of wraps and soups based on food from Thailand, India and China. The wraps (rsp £1.99 to £2.49) come in six varieties, including Rajma n' Rice (Indian), Chicken Panang (Thai) and Kung Pao Chicken (Chinese). There are also six varieties of fresh soups, including Daal Palak (Indian), Tom Yum Het (Thai) and Sweetcorn with Vegetables (Chinese). They come in 500ml and single serve 300ml pots (rsps £1.29 to £2.49). Founded by Sunil Sitlani, the company plans to push distribution of its wraps and soups in delis, food halls and sandwich bars as well as in multiples and independent retail chains. The products have been given distinctive packaging and branding to help them stand out on shelf. And each country has been colour coded for easy identification. It also plans to introduce other regions to its portfolio, such as food and flavours from the Caribbean. {{P&P }}
