Edgewell Personal Care has announced new roles for two senior members of its Europe, Middle East, India & Africa (EMEIA) Pacific arm, Katharine Goodchild and Alexandra Douglas.
Goodchild has moved to the role of Edgewell custom brands director for EMEIA Pacific. In this position, she has responsibility for advancing the business’ private label offer, deepening customer partnerships, and supporting growth in an evolving retail environment.
Goodchild has been at Edgewell since its creation in 2015, when it span off Energizer Holdings – which she had joined 12 years previously. Most recently, she was general manager for north-west Europe. Over the course of her tenure, she has played a key role in shaping commercial direction and supporting the growth of Edgewell’s portfolio across the region.
Douglas has been appointed market director for UK, Ireland & Nordics, with a focus on continuing the momentum created in recent years to strengthen customer partnerships, modernise the organisation and drive the next phase of growth across the company’s portfolio. She would work closely across sales, marketing and customer teams to bring brands including Wilkinson Sword Intuition, Bulldog Skincare and Hawaiian Tropic “closer to consumers” and “deliver greater impact in market”, Edgewell said.
Douglas has been with the supplier for more than two years. Prior to joining, she held a number of senior roles at Wella Company and Boots UK. “Her experience across brand building, customer understanding and commercial delivery will support Edgewell’s continued growth across the UK, Ireland and Nordics”, the company added.
Tony Lorman, president of Edgewell EMEIA Pacific, said: “These appointments reflect the progress we have made in building a stronger, more focused business across EMEIA Pacific. Over the past three years, we have transformed our organisation, introduced new capabilities and continued to modernise the way we operate – with a clear focus on building better brands, stronger propositions and sharper execution in market.”
Goodchild and Douglas would “play an important role in helping us build on that momentum, deepen customer partnerships and unlock further growth across the region”, he added.
