Ella Eyre CBD

Eyre was introduced to Intune founder Hannah Glasson by a friend

British singer-songwriter Ella Eyre has become a co-owner of CBD drinks brand Intune.

The Brit Award-winning artist – who shot to fame after starring on the 2013 Rudimental hit Waiting All Night – will sit on the company’s advisory board and influence the brand’s future strategic direction.

Eyre was introduced to Intune founder Hannah Glasson through a friend, the brand disclosed.

“Ella will help to build the brand through her international fanbase, collaborations with Intune stockists – including Yo Sushi, Ocado and Laine – and work alongside Hannah to open Intune and the CBD drinks category to a wider audience,” it said.

She has also played an active role in a packaging refresh for the brand that will roll out from next month.

“I’m so excited to be entering a whole new professional world by joining Hannah and the team as co-owner of Intune,” said Eyre. “I fell in love with the brand not just because of the exceptional taste and intention behind its purpose, but also because of our founder, Hannah, and her inspirational story.

“As well as being a female-owned brand, Intune’s focus on flavour, wellness and creativity resonated with me straight away,” Eyre continued. “I’m certain Intune is the perfect mixer to the music industry and I’m grateful to be part of the journey.”

Glasson added: “Ella’s extraordinary talent, energy and vision make her the ideal co-owner for the next chapter of Intune. Ella’s involvement will benefit Intune’s customers and stockists in a meaningful way and we look forward to realising our exciting plans together.”

Intune was launched in 2020 after Glasson started taking CBD during breast cancer treatment. Its sodas contain 10mg of CBD per can and are within the recommended ADI (acceptable daily intake) as advised by the FSA.
