Bob Mulder will be taking on the MD role, effective from 1 January

FrieslandCampina has announced its UK & Ireland MD Will Jones will leave the business at the end of 2025.

Bob Mulder will be taking on the MD role, effective from 1 January.

Mulder is the current sales director for FrieslandCampina consumer dairy in the Netherlands, a role he has held for three years and in which he has delivered sustainable growth across the company’s priority brands.

He has worked for the business for eight years with experience also at Hero, Euroma and Unilever.

The business said he brings extensive experience and a proven track record of success to the role, which would ensure continued strong leadership and strategic direction for the UK & Ireland business.

“We warmly welcome Bob into his new role and to the business group Europe leadership team,” said Dustin Woodward, president of FrieslandCampina Europe. “His existing track record in driving growth for the company and his deep understanding of the dairy market will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and expand in the UK and Ireland, and we look forward to the continued success of the business under his leadership.”

He takes on the role from Jones, who has worked for the business since 2015 starting as marketing director.

During his time, Jones secured a market leadership position with Yazoo, launched the company’s Chocomel and Barista brands in 2019, and oversaw the relocation of the UK head office from Horsham into central London.

“We sincerely thank Will for his significant contribution to FrieslandCampina over the years,” said Woodward. “His growth mindset, people-first leadership and positive attitude have been instrumental in shaping our success, and we wish him the very best in his future endeavours.”

The business said it was a “natural moment” for Jones to pursue a “new chapter” beyond FrieslandCampina.
