Krispy Kreme has partnered with matcha challenger PerfectTed to launch a matcha doughnut and drinks range. 

The new ‘Grab Your Greens’ campaign looks to provide customers with a “joy-filled matcha-powered lift” and will see the pair offering a limited-edition Strawberry Matcha Doughnut.

It features an Original Glazed doughnut filled with strawberry-flavoured Kreme, dipped in a PerfectTed matcha-flavour coating and topped with dried strawberry pieces. The doughnut, priced from £2.59, will be available in Krispy Kreme shops across the UK and Ireland until 6 February and exclusively in selected Tesco stores in mainland UK for a limited period. 

It launches alongside an Original Glazed Matcha Latte and an Original Glazed Iced Matcha Latte. Priced from £4.69, both drinks combine PerfectTed’s oat matcha drink with an Original Glazed doughnut flavour.

“As part of the collaboration, we are also delighted to be ‘going green’ with PerfectTed with a fun ‘takeover’ of our Krispy Kreme One New Change (St Paul’s) shop in London on 22 January, inviting fans to taste, sip and snap the ultimate matcha moment.”
