M&S has launched over 100 new or refreshed summer products in Foodhalls, including Shred N’ Share Dine In deals for families and groups.
The Shred N’ Share Dine In deals serve four and consist of a main to share and four extras for £20. Options for the main course include Carolina BBQ British Pork and Fajita Spiced British Chicken.
Other new or refreshed lines for summer include Cookie Cups, described by M&S Food MD Alex Freudmann as “cookies meet cheesecake”. They come in Raspberry & White Chocolate, Hazelnut Praline and Extremely Chocolatey flavours.
“Over 100 new or refreshed summer products have arrived in M&S Foodhalls,” said Freudmann. “One of the best parts of my job is seeing the creativity of our chefs and product developers come to life in store – and hearing feedback from customers.”
Posting on LinkedIn today, Freudmann said his “personal favourites” included a gluten-free Korean Chicken Sandwich – “full of flavour, no compromise” – and Tiramichoux – “a clever take on profiteroles with a tiramisu twist”.
A new White Sangria was described by Freudmann as “light, citrusy and great for summer”.
There are also new tiramisu flavours of pistachio, limoncello and hazelnut, and new sauces and dressings, “from spicy mayo to a coffee BBQ glaze”.
“And for families or groups, our new Shred N’ Share Dine In makes it easy to bring everyone together,” added Freudmann.
“Find all these in store now – and there is plenty more still to come.”
M&S has credited constant innovation as helping fuel the growth of its food business. Its recent annual results said M&S Food was “broadening its appeal by delivering a consistent drumbeat of innovation and quality upgrades”. Product quality was upgraded on over 1,000 lines in the year to 29 March 2025, according to the retailer.
Kantar’s monthly grocery sales figures last week revealed M&S maintained strong growth despite some disruption to availability for its food business as a result of the cyberattack on the retailer in April. Spending on groceries at M&S grew by 12.3% year on year in the 12 weeks to 18 May 2025.
