Zertus has appointed Jane Berry as UK & Ireland CEO.

Berry joined the business last month from her previous role as MD at International Procurement & Logistics (IPL).

Berry has almost three decades’ fmcg industry experience, including three years as MD of Fox’s Biscuits and four years as commercial director of 2 Sisters Food Group.

She fills the gap left by Paul Tripp, who left Zertus UK&I at the start of 2025, and is now VP and MD of CH Guenther & Son Europe.

“I am delighted to share that I have joined Zertus UK&I as CEO,” Berry said.

“I am very proud to be leading the Lir, Humdinger and Kinnerton sites, along with the rest of the Zertus UK&I leadership team.

“A huge thank you to the Zertus group board and shareholders for the warm welcome.

“I very much look forward to continuing the success of the business, which is built above all on the strength of its people and the quality of its amazing products.”

In addition to Lir, Humdinger and Kinnerton, Zertus owns Sun Valley Nut Company and dairy-free chocolate brand Nomo.

Nomo has had four products shortlisted for The Grocer’s upcoming New Product & Packaging Awards 2025.

Its Mini Mint Reindeers and Salted Popcorn Chocolate Bar have been shortlisted in the ‘free from & plant-based – sweet & milk’ category. Meanwhile, its Sticky Toffee Reindeer and Ultimate Advent Calendar have been shortlisted for an award for the best ‘seasonal’ product.
