One Spot Alcohol refresh

The revamped lineup includes products from Served, Beavertown, Northern Monk, La Vieille Ferme, BrewDog, Kopparberg and Au Vodka

One Stop has added 55 new lines across beer, wine and spirits in response to changing consumer trends.

The overhaul was “a conscious reaction to feedback from customers” and had resulted in a wider selection of wines, craft beers and low & no-alcohol options being added to shelves, said the Tesco-owned retailer.

In a bid to increase sustainability, more canned wines and beers have also been listed.

Bottled ales are being replaced by pint cans on a four for £6 or £1.75 each offer, whilst premium 440ml craft cans from suppliers including Northern Monk, BrewDog and Beavertown have also been added on a two for £5.50 deal. Murphy’s 4x440ml multipacks have also been listed.

Other new canned ciders, wines and canned cocktails include lines from Thatchers, La Vieille Ferme, Au Vodka and Served.

“We know these lines are in demand, particularly with the Gen Z audience,” said Elizabeth Haynes, BWS buying manager at One Stop.

Meanwhile, low & no-alcohol options including 4x330ml multipacks of Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% and 500ml bottles of Kopparberg alcohol-free Strawberry & Lime have also been rolled out.

“Customer mindsets and behaviours are constantly evolving and it’s important that we’re providing products that suit their needs,” said Haynes.

John Miller, head of franchise at One Stop, added: “Category resets are an exciting time for our franchise estate. The refresh of products and expansion will certainly help with our franchisee’s sales and profitability. Leaning into popular must-have products such as the range of ales, canned cocktails and wines will generate interest and increased footfall.”
