Rebel Kitchen is made from coconuts sourced from the Philippines. It is naturally pink and sold chilled

Rebel Kitchen has secured a trio of new retail distribution wins, amid booming demand for coconut water.

The brand’s has confirmed listings in Tesco Express, Asda and Co-op, with its 330ml coconut water launching as part of the Tesco Meal Deal this week.

Meanwhile, its 750ml chilled coconut water will launch in both Asda and Co-op from November.

“Securing Tesco Meal Deal is a huge milestone for Rebel Kitchen,” said Adam Draper, managing director at Rebel Kitchen owner Nurture brands. “It’s an opportunity to introduce our brand to a whole new audience, beyond our established 750ml take-home format. To then secure Asda and Co-op in the same quarter is a fantastic hat-trick.

“Coconut water is absolutely flying in the UK, and we’re proving that consumers are increasingly looking to trade-up to the freshest-tasting coconut water on the market.”

It comes with coconut water continuing to grow strongly in the UK, with value sales up 44% to £111.2m over the past 52 weeks [Circana 52 w/e 3 October 2026].

Rebel Kitchen was outpacing growth of the category, with its value sales increasing by 60% to £7.9m, said Draper.

Growth was being “fuelled by the rise of natural functional hydration, as consumers increasingly see coconut water as a natural alternative to sports drinks and traditional higher sugar content juices, particularly for electrolytes, potassium, and recovery,” he said.

“This trend sits alongside a growing consumer interest in wellness and beauty, as well as social media trends that are introducing coconut water to a new generation of consumers,” Draper added.
