Rheal Superfoods has extended into hydration sachets with a new range targeted at “exhausted” women.
The wellness brand has launched Daily Hydration (rsp: £30/28 sachets) and Hydration x Creatine (rsp: £35/28 sachets) in Lemon & Lime and Raspberry via DTC.
Daily Hydration was “an electrolyte-powered formula designed to restore energy, mood and focus”, while Hydration x Creatine was “formulated to support daily performance, strength, and recovery”.
Both contain 1800mg of natural electrolytes and 500mg of sodium from pink Himalayan salt, alongside magnesium and vitamins C, D and K2. Hydration x Creatine also features 3.4g of creatine.
The launch would be supported by a campaign “built around real women who do it all – and deserve to refill their cup”, said Rheal.
“Women are exhausted. They pour into family, work, relationships, and life – and often forget to pour back into themselves,” the supplier said. “As wellness resets surge in January, Rheal is championing a simpler approach to self-care: a small daily ritual that fits into real life.”
With its latest launch, Rheal added it was seeking to reframe creatine as a supplement that could benefit women.
“Creatine has historically been marketed towards men and gym performance, but the evidence shows it has significant benefits for women too, particularly during perimenopause,” said Natasha Draycott, Rheal’s in-house nutritionist. “Beyond supporting muscle strength and recovery, creatine also plays an important role in brain function.
“Rheal has created a creatine supplement with added nutrients such as zinc and magnesium, which together support energy production, strength, and cognition, making it a genuinely valuable supplement for men and women across all life stages.”
Rheal was founded by Charlotte and Sean Ali in 2017, but soared in popularity after the brand appeared on the BBC’s Dragons’ Den in 2021.
The brand turned down investment from all five dragons, turning instead to crowdfunding to raise almost £1m from more than 400 backers at a £6m valuation.
Last January, Rheal extended into juice shots, unveiling Wellness Shots in Super Greens, Ginger Zing, Blueberry Beets and Berry Biotic.
