Sierra Paloma RTD Visual

Sierra launched its RTD line in March 2025 to sit alongside its Blanco and Reposado tequilas

Tequila brand Sierra has landed a first supermarket listing for its ready-to-drink cocktail range.

Sierra Lime Margarita and a newly launched Sierra Paloma will hit Morrisons stores on 7 September (rsp: £2.60/150ml). The 6% abv cocktails will also be a part of the retailer’s core four for £6 and five for £7 RTD multibuy offer.

Sierra Lime Margarita blends “tangy lime, balanced sweetness, a hint of salt, with cooked agave notes,” while the new Sierra Grapefruit Paloma promises “bitter grapefruit, zesty citrus, with cooked agave notes”.

“We’re delighted to be launching the Sierra Paloma RTDs and introducing Sierra Lime Margaritas in Morrisons across the UK,” said Rob Curteis, managing director of UK Sierra distributor The Drinks Company. “We’ve seen the growing consumer interest in Paloma and Margarita cocktails and the Sierra team have created these vibrant and eye-catching can designs with great-tasting cocktails, mixed with Sierra Tequila Blanco.”

Sierra launched its RTD line in March 2025 to sit alongside its Blanco and Reposado tequilas. Also in the UK lineup is Sierra Strawberry Margarita, available in WH Smith, Gopuff, Amazon, Drink Supermarket and other retailers.

The listing comes amid booming interest in tequila-based cocktails from UK shoppers.

Value sales of tequila-based pre-mixed drinks have grown by 193.8% over the past year [NIQ 52 w/e 11 July 2026]. Now worth £98.7m, they account for over 11% of all value sales across the premix category in grocery.
