Strings & Things has announced it is expanding its cheese snacking portfolio with the launch of Munch Mix.
Munch Mix (rsp: £2.25) is a combination snack available in two variants: Cheddar Cheese & Crunchy Crackers and Cheddar Cheese & Crunchy Pretzels.
The range will be available in Asda from 4 September and then in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Ocado later that month.
It is aimed at a capitalising on strong momentum in the cheese snacking category, which Strings & Things said continued to show robust growth across both grocery and convenience.
“We know cheese snacking is one of the fastest-growing areas of the chilled category, particularly among families looking for snacks that are both nutritional and fun,” said Liz McTurk, senior brand manager at Kerry Dairy Consumer Foods.
“We wanted to give shoppers something new and exciting, with the reassurance of calcium and no compromise on taste or fun,” she added. “Munch Mix is a perfect example of that. It offers real cheese, paired with crunchy extras, all in a portioned format that fits into lunchboxes or works as an after-school snack.”
The launch will be supported by an out-of-home campaign that launches in October, as well as store shopper media when the product is on shelf in September.
