Archers Vea has, with its reduced sugar levels, been positioned to attract the interest of calorie-conscious females. The newcomer comes in three flavour variants - wild berry, apple and tropical

I love the idea of any decent alcoholic drink with fewer calories, as I do like my drink. However, this does not do my figure any favours.
I am also quite keen on RTDs, so Archers Vea sounded perfect to me.
The packaging is bright and colourful and would make me notice the product when out shopping.
I liked all of the three flavours available. All of them had a refreshing taste and, importantly, it was not obvious that it was a product with reduced sugar levels.
All in all, this is a nice drink that I would buy again - mainly because of its better-for-you credentials.

Another new entrant into the crowded and declining RTD sector! However, when you remember that this category is worth more than £300m, clearly there is still consumer demand.
All three flavour variants deliver a clean, crisp taste, and are significantly less sweet and ultimately less cloying than other RTDs.
The packaging has average standout and plays heavily on the design cues from Archers Schnapps. Each of the three variants is clearly differentiated through the use of colour on the label.
The killer question is: do consumers really need another Archers brand extension? Only time will tell…
