Yeo Valley Organic has announced its latest departure from dairy with the launch of two granola lines.
Organic Tray Baked Granola (rsp: £4.50/369g) is made from 100% organic British oats and a mix of nuts, seeds and fruits, and is baked in small batches.
It comes in two variants: Toasted Nuts & Seeds and Berry & Cherry.
“While there are plenty of granolas out there, not many are delivering on what really matters: natural ingredients, great taste, and generous clusters,” said Jonny McIver, marketing manager at Yeo Valley Organic. “That’s why we’re proud to bring the range to the breakfast table.”
He added the range has a “satisfying crunch and an authentic homemade texture”.
The launch follows the brand’s first foray into meat with its beef burgers earlier this year and is part of its strategy to expand its range to help families choose minimally processed food that’s affordable, nutritious and more sustainable.
“After 30 years of championing delicious organic food, we’re excited to take another step that supports the whole organic regenerative farming system,” said McIver. “Growing oats has been part of our farming story for years, so granola is a natural next step, especially when it pairs so well with our organic yoghurts.
“It’s all about keeping things simple and delicious – no unnecessary extras, just proper food,” he added.
The range launches from 22 September in Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Ocado.
