Greggs has brought its online home delivery service to London.
Greggs Delivered, which piloted in Newcastle in October, allows customers to order any Greggs products, including sandwich platters and single sausage rolls, up to 10 days in advance of delivery.
To order, customers can register with the Greggs website and select their location and a delivery time slot. For next-day delivery, orders must be placed before 5pm the previous day.
Delivery is free but there is a £20 minimum order threshold. Currently, the delivery radius is 0.4 miles from Greggs Cheapside (EC2V 6AT) and Greggs Eastcheap (EC3M 1BU), though it may expand later in the year.
“Convenience is key in the food on-the-go market,” said Greggs retail director Raymond Reynolds.
“We’re extremely excited to offer delivery of a selection of our great-tasting freshly prepared food directly to our customers, by trialling a free delivery service in two of our London shops.”
