Superdrug has expanded its same-day home delivery service to Scotland for the first time.
The retailer’s ‘Store to Door’ courier service is from this week available to shoppers within a five-mile radius of stores in Glasgow and Edinburgh regions.
There is also a rapid two-hour option, costing from £5.40 and available within a 1.5-mile radius of the chosen store.
Superdrug launched same-day delivery in England in 2020, to help get supplies to customers in lockdown. It already offered express delivery within three days as well as standard delivery within six days, and click & collect options.
In November last year, it added the rapid option in England, offering its beauty, personal care and toiletries ranges for delivery within two hours.
Over 10,000 deliveries have so far been made, according to Superdrug.
Orders are placed at Superdrug.com and delivered by courier business Stuart. The minimum basket value is £15 and shoppers must be signed up to Superdrug’s Health & Beautycard loyalty scheme.
