To get ahead of the uplift, Morrisons has set upon its biggest-ever revamp of the range and a host of reformulations to cut calories, fat and salt. Here’s our pick of what’s new


Vegan Smoky Shredded Jackfruit Burrito Bowl

Combining Mexican flavours and plant-based ingredients, Morrisons is sure this vegan ready meal will be a hit. The dish uses smoky jackfruit as the alternative to pulled pork and combines it with chilli and lime salsa, vegetable rice, pickled pink onions and a sachet of crushed tortilla chips to sprinkle over the top. It serves one and is ready to eat in four-and-a-half minutes. 

Korean Style BBQ Pork



Inspired by Korean char siu dishes, pork, pak choi and veg come together in a spicy chilli, red pepper, ginger and garlic sauce for the latest launch in the Tastes of the World Range. It comes with sticky rice, serves one and is ready to eat in five minutes. 

The Best Chicken Primavera

Strozzapretti pasta twists form the backbone of this premium ready meal, combined with confit chicken breast pieces, mixed green veg, mint Jersey butter and a “full-flavoured” roast garlic and Grana Padano cheese sauce. It seves one and cooks in four-and-a-half minutes. 

The Best Spanish Chicken, Paprika Potatoes & Aioli



This oven-ready meal for two features British paprika chicken breast and roast potatoes in a smoky tomato, piquillo red pepper and Fino sherry sauce. It also comes wih a sachet of garlic aioli to serve alongside it. It’s ready to eat in 35 minutes. 

The Best Smoked Salmon Bucatini



Starring a pasta shape so beloved in the US that its brief shortage in December became a matter of great public interest, this premium ready meal is tossed in a lemon cream sauce and topped with flakes of Scottish hot smoked salmon. It serves one and is ready to eat in four and a half minutes.

Thai Takeaway Box



One of two new fakeaway packs, this Thai-style meal for two packages up pad thai noodles, Thai-style green curry, sticky rice, spring rolls and prawn crackers. It serves two and is ready to eat in 30 minutes. 

Southern Fried Meal Box

The second fakeaway is inspired by KFC, serves two and comprises chicken strips, nuggets and crispy wedges alongside barbecue beans, southern-style gravy and herby garlic mayo for dipping. It serves two and is ready to eat in 30 minutes. 

The Best Steak Hash



The ultimate comfort food classic, this Steak Hash in Morrisons’ premium own-label range is made with slow-cooked pulled beef, Ruddles Best Ale gravy and beef dripping roast potatoes. It serves one and cooks in the oven in 25 minutes. 

Cook It Tandoori Style Cauliflower 



Thanks to TikTok, buffalo cauliflower has become a hugely popular plant-based meal in recent years. Morrisons’ take gives it a tandoori twist, combining it with masala sauce, green peppers and red onions. This pack serves two if served with salad, as recommended and is ready to eat after 25 minutes in the oven.
