Kellogg has appointed Tony Palmer as its new UK and Republic of Ireland managing director to continue the growth of the business.
Palmer joined Kellogg in 2002 as vice president, innovation and then helped improve sales when he was promoted to president, natural and frozen foods divisions, Kellogg USA. Before this he was president, global laboratory products for Fisher Scientific International and held senior marketing and general management roles within Coca-Cola and Mars in the US and Asia Pacific.
Palmer replaces Paul Norman who has been promoted to vice president of the Kellogg Company and president, morning foods, Kellogg USA.
Tim Mobsby, president, Kellogg Europe, said: “Paul Norman and his team have driven a turnaround in Kellogg cereal share in the UK in the past two years and I am confident Tony will continue to grow our UK businesses at the lead of this talented team.Tony has an impressive track record of exceeding performance expectations at Kellogg.”
Born in Australia, Palmer holds an MBA from the International Management Institute in Switzerland and a bachelor of business marketing degree from Monash University, Melbourne.
