Southcorp is launching its Little Penguin Australian wine range into the UK.
The wines, initially a Chardonnay and a Shiraz, are priced at £4.99 each and are available at Sainsbury.
They are described as easy-drinking and the Chardonnay is recommended paired with seafood or poultry, while the spicy and bold-tasting Shiraz goes well with barbecued meats or hard cheeses.
Kristi Knowles, Southcorp’s brand manager for the range, said: “Southcorp is delighted to be bringing these fruity wines to the UK market and is confident that consumers will enjoy drinking them.”
