Fuller Smith & Turner has bid farewell to production brewer Brendan Bray - the brewer’s longest-serving employee.

Bray, 63, retired last week after joining the West London-based brewer as a brewing room boy - looking after malt stock and beer samples, and tidying desks - in 1966, aged 15,

Bray was responsible for the brewhouse and fermentation area of the brewery in his most recent role.

John Kelling, head brewer at Fuller’s, said: “Brendan has worked tirelessly, with great attention to detail, innovating, ensuring the consistency and adapting procedures to make Fuller’s beers of the highest quality.”
