Former Costcutter chairman Colin Graves is up for election as deputy chairman of the England and Wales Cricket Board.

Graves, who has been a board director of the ECB since 2012 and chairman of Yorkshire County Cricket Club since 2006, won the ballot for nomination this week by 10 votes to seven. He will now be put forward for election for the role.

“I am honoured that the First Class Counties and MCC have chosen to nominate me for the office,” he said.
