Meat company W&J Parker, which trades as Parker Fine Foods, has appointed Andrew Parker MD.
Parker moves up from the role of operations director where, the company said, he had used his experience of the meat business to ensure competitiveness in a tough market and drive operating costs from the business, particularly at its site in Corby, which supplies frozen meat to major retailers.
He is replaced by Stephen Hind who is promoted from general manager for the Leicester site.
Hind will take responsibility for operations at both Corby and Leicester.
