Picked to lead a newly formed Refresco Gerber in 2013, Roelofs oversaw an IPO of the Dutch drinks giant on the Amsterdam stock market in 2015, with a valuation of £770m-£930m. The hefty costs of the flotation hit profits in May but Roelofs’ steady hand, and warm weather in Western Europe over the summer, helped underlying profits rise 3.2% by November.
