All About Food is extending its supermarket Pizza Express range from salad dressings to passata sauce.
The canned passata (rsp: £1.09), which is the same recipe as used on pizzas at the chain's 370 outlets, will hit stores in October and is intended to be used on homemade pizzas, but can also be used on pasta and in soup.
Consumers would recognise the passata as larger versions were dispalyed in Pizza Express restaurants, said All About Food. The launch will be highlighted on chilled Pizza Express pizzas.
