Hotel Chocolat is gearing up to open two new stores in Copenhagen this summer.
The upmarket confectioner opened its first store in the Danish city at the end of 2012 using its Roast + Conch format.
Its success has persuaded Hotel Chocolat to open two more stores - one at the airport and another in an affluent northern suburb.
“It is a very sophisticated city and has a great reputation for food. We knew we’d have quite a bit to do to win over the locals, but we’re really pleased with the response and now have a good following there,” said Hotel Chocolat CEO Angus Thirlwell.
The confectioner will open its first Hong Kong store at the end of 2014.
