Winner: Marleybones
Last year, female-founded, vet-backed dog nutrition brand Marleybones pivoted from DTC to an omnichannel approach. The aim was to reach new customers by integrating retail and B2B2C partnerships.
It worked. Marylebones secured listings in Waitrose, Whole Foods Market and Ocado – with more retailers due to come on board – and expanded its wholesale and marketplace presence. It also evolved its meal plans into ‘holistic health plans’, ensuring each subscription is tailored to a dog’s needs through automated vet-backed recommendations based on age, weight, activity level and dietary needs.

Marleybones also improved on-shelf presence, brand recollection and clarity with a rebrand. Our judges praised its “impressive execution and growth”, which “strengthened an already strongly differentiated proposition”.
