Versions of Google’s Android OS have been named after sweet products since 1.5 Cupcake in 2009, but Android KitKat 4.4 was the first time Google attached its OS to a specific brand. As impressive as the idea was that the deal was secured within 24 hours of a cold call to Google HQ, and involved no money changing hands.
