Yorkshire-based Rudgate Brewery is rolling out a five-litre keg of blonde ale to Tesco.
Sixty stores in the Yorkshire region are to carry the keg of 3.8% abv Jorvik Blonde, marking the first time Rudgate has used the format. Rudgate MD Craig Lee said it was aimed at parties and BBQs. “It is great that Tesco is supporting local breweries,” he added.
Heineken lager and St Peter’s Brewery’s best bitter are among the beers sold in five-litre kegs in the mults.
