Singaporean drinks company True Heritage Brew is bringing its Singapore Sling Original bottled cocktail to the UK.
The cocktail debuts in a trial run next week as part of Selfridges' Taste of Singapore fortnight, in its first venture outside Asia since its 2005 launch.
The UK trial variant (£3.50 for 250ml) will have a 6.8% abv, which will be cut to 4.9% for the export version when it officially launches at the end of the year. Taste tests showed the lower abv was "more suitable" for the UK, the company said.
