Travel food company SSP is to provide an alternative to panini and ciabatta in a new 'Best of British' on-the-go kiosk set to open in Manchester Piccadilly railway station in the next few weeks.
Bread Box will serve "no-nonsense food and a nice cup of tea", said SSP. The line-up would include white and brown rolls with the nation's top 10 fillings, such as ham and mustard and cheese and pickle, as well as an all-day breakfast, pork pies and tea made in a pot, it said.
Three further outlets are to open in coming months.
