Edible insect supplier Grub has secured a listing with Whole Foods Market for its range of roasted crickets.
Rolling out from next month, the range comprises three flavours: Chilli & Lime, English Herbs and Salt & Vinegar (rsp: £3.49-£3.99/9g).
“Insects are such a nutritious food source - it seems crazy not to use them,” said Shami Radia, co-founder of Grub, which also sells products online and through Planet Organic. “We just need to embrace them.”
