Claire Lorains has been appointed wine category manager at Tesco.
Lorains joined Tesco in 2002 and replaces Andrew Carpenter, who has moved to the health and beauty category. She was previously senior buying manager for household.
"Her broad commercial experience will bring valued skills to the beers, wines and spirits team," said a spokeswoman.
