What's it like to work for your company? Our vision is to be the most admired beer company in the UK. Each of our employees has a role to play in achieving our vision: to change the way people think about beer.

Why is it a good employer? We're a small organisation that is part of a much larger company, SABMiller. Our business combines the flexibility and excitement of working for a start-up with the stability and reward of working for a multinational.

What's the best thing about working there? The opportunity to work on our world-class brands and to develop both personally and professionally.

How does the company differ from its rivals? Our strength at Miller Brands is that we are fleet-of-foot. We act quickly, which means we're more responsive.

Is there a definable company culture? Our culture is open, honest, collaborative and goal focused. Everyone is able to exercise their personal responsibility and contribute towards the company's success.

If the company were a car, what would it be and why? We would be a Mini Cooper: young, nimble and hides its potential under the bonnet!

What's the training like? Senior managers can attend European and global programmes and forums that combine the different markets from SABMiller. Various other interventions are offered such as on-the-job training, coaching and attending external courses.

What qualifications can I earn? We look at a very wide range of training, and support industry-recognised qualifications such as the financial qualification CIMA.

Has the company won any awards or been recognised in the past few years as an employer? Yes, in 2010 we were listed as 'one to watch' in The Sunday Times Best Companies accreditation.

What's your proudest achievement over the past 12 months? I'm most proud of the number of people development moves we've had in the company: 32 moves from a total of just over 100 employees, exceeding our target of 20.

What is the most important or challenging HR issue that you are dealing with at the moment, or are readying yourself to deal with? Further cultural development of the organisation and ensuring we are fit for purpose.

How does one go about applying for a job? All our vacancies are listed on both the Miller Brands and SABMiller websites.

What tips would you offer job seekers? Make sure you have relevant experience and tailor your CV.

Are you, or is the company, working on anything exciting right now that you can tell us about? We're currently in the process of looking at our brand portfolio with a view to launching a new brand later on in the year.
