Job Title: External communications and public affairs manager

This politics and public affairs whizzkid was brought in to Dairy Crest in 2012 as the company’s first ever in-house lobbyist and tasked with devising a public affairs strategy from scratch. A former research assistant to home secretary Theresa May, Seccombe has since been busy building the dairy giant’s profile in Westminster, the devolved administrations and Europe, including launching Dairy Crest’s new milk price formula with former Defra minister David Heath and 20 MPs and peers. Further public affairs successes have come courtesy of Seccombe’s role running the Dairy Crest corporate press office, where she has penned and placed a number of high-profile op eds for CEO Mark Allen since joining the company.
