Steve Campbell has become managing director of Burn Stewart Distillers, the whisky firm that became part of the recently created global drinks group CL World Brands. He will take over the day-to-day running of Burn Stewart from chief executive Ian Bankier.
The move follows Burn Stewart’s acquisition of the Black Bottle and Bunnahabhain brands from Edrington in April.
Campbell joined Burn Stewart in 2000 as finance director. Before joining Burn Stewart, he was a director for UDV Group in the Far East. Campbell said: “I feel confident that I can put my
international experience to good use and I look forward to meeting the challenges ahead.”
In addition, Shona Milloy, previously financial accountant at Burn Stewart, has been appointed head of finance.
