Future Publishing is launching a brand extension to its title PC Gamer. Net Gamer will be an occasional magazine dedicated to multi-player PC games. The 100-page title has three covermounted CD-ROMs and a cover price of £5.99. On sale on April 17. Distribution is by Seymour.

n Baby renamed
Pregnancy Special magazine, due to go on sale April 24, has changed its name to Pregnancy Vitality. The on sale date remains the same. Distribution is by Comag.

n Guide suspended
Newtrade Publishing's free Magazine Guide is to be suspended from issue 21 and will be replaced by Magazine Focus, which will encompass Magazine Retailer and Market Focus. Magazine Retailer will appear twice a year and provide a guide for retailers to improve their magazine ranges and build sales profitability. Market Focus will look at ways of highlighting key sectors and business opportunities, linked to the distribution of promotional material and retail promotions.

n Country matters
The May issue of Country Living, on sale Monday, April 21, comes with a Country Escapes booklet and a 40-page gardening special.

n Relaunch
Gibbons Stamp Monthly is relaunching from the May issue (on sale on April 17) following a re-design. It comes with a gift worth £4.

n Safeway hangings
Safeway is introducing hanging banners for magazines, which can be positioned either above the till points or the magazine display.
The retailer will also roll out a total of 290 Daily Mail News bins to cover stores from the end of this month, with full implementation by the end of May.
The news bins will occupy prime position at the front of the store, painted in Safeway green.
