The packaging of this range is nice and conveys a better quality product than is the case with other brands on the market.
As a whole, I was impressed with the range. Only one offering out of the six I sampled - the lamb and mint pasty - did not live up to my expectations.
Unlike a lot of pasties and pies, the pastry was just right on the Brittons products, not too greasy nor too dry.
With their reasonable pricing, I would buy the pasties as a lunch on-the-go option, while I would purchase the pies to take home as a quick evening meal.
All in all, a good solid range.

The products are well presented with an unfussy premium look that allows the contents to be viewed clearly.
The pastry on the pasties tasted great but the fillings varied in quality. My favourite was the cheese and onion pasty.
The flavour of the Homity Pie was quite unpleasant - the filling was bland with an odd herby taste - and the cheese topping was rather chewy. The crust of the Chicken, Ham and Cider pie tasted as artificial as it looked, with an almost rubbery texture.
The pasties were by far the better products. The pies do not deliver the
quality that the packaging conveys or
that the price commands.
