Europe's leading food and drink exhibition dedicated to the ethnic industry returns to Birmingham's NEC from June 17-19. As the UK continues to dominate the ethnic food market, this year's show aims to lead the way in bringing buyers and suppliers together from across the UK and Europe to help make your business more profitable. The show has always been packed with exhibitors from all round the world, and this year's event is no exception. More than 150 companies, including manufacturers, importers, distributors, wholesalers and other suppliers of ethnic food, drink and related equipment and services, will be sampling their latest products for visitors to experience. Overseas participation includes groups from Azerbaijan, Barbados, Ghana and Pakistan, while key exhibitors include Tiger Tiger Marketing, Trustin Unimerchants, Kingfisher Lager and Daloon Foods. Spicing up the show will be several competitions: - British Meat Spice of Life Theatre. This will feature live culinary demonstrations on Sunday and Monday. Leading chefs will compete in 10 classes, creating recipes from Indian, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Malay and Mexican cuisines. - Taj Spicemaster. Run on Tuesday, six top chefs will go head to head in a cook-off to win the Taj Spicemaster title, a new award sponsored by Taj International Hotels to create the ultimate standard in Indian cuisine. - Kingfisher Curry Capital of the UK. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Manchester, Bradford, Birmingham, Leicester and London are competing for the title, with the winner announced during the show. - Top 30 Indian restaurants in the UK.
