Speciality Cumbrian bakers, The Village Bakery, has appointed Lindsay Williams as its first marketing manager to drive brand awareness.
Williams will report to managing director Michael Bell, and will be working to strengthen the image of the gluten, wheat and dairy-free OK Foods range and the organic bakery products.
The company said it intended to improve on the 25% year-on-year growth achieved over the past three years.
Williams is a dynamic young marketing professional, according to the Village Bakery, as she has previously worked for The Delton Group as brand manager for Nappy Sacks, within the household products business division in Germany.
