BP has launched the first ever TV adverts for BP Connect's Wild Bean Café.

The campaign will run throughout the autumn and is part of a wider programme of radio and outdoor adverts and sponsorship of talkSPORT Traffic & Travel.

The first advert appeared on Channel 4 during an episode of Big Brother. It centres on a man being invited into an attractive woman’s house for coffee after an evening out. But he turns her down and opts for a steaming cup of coffee from a nearby BP Connect Wild Bean Café instead.

BP said the advert was designed to make the consumer aware that quality, freshly ground coffee can be found on the road at Wild Bean Café.

“The advert is being used to build upon the existing success of the Wild Bean Café brand and its offer,” said Claire Merrick, BP Retail advertising and brand manager.

“While awareness levels of the brand are healthy and continue to grow, using TV in addition to other key media channels should continue to boost brand awareness.”
