Venture Foods has introduced an organic and gluten-free brown sauce, which is suitable for vegans.
The Geo Organics Brown Sauce comes in a 240g bottle and follows a traditional recipe of molasses and tomatoes, but also includes apple, dates and tamarind to update the flavour. The product (rsp: £1.49) is said to be the first organic brown sauce made in the UK and fills a gap left by the discontinued Meridian Organic Brown Sauce.
Venture Foods has also launched Geo Organics Sweet Chilli Sauce with Tomatoes and Garlic (rsp: £1.59 for 260g) to join its Worcestershire sauce and malt vinegar condiments.
