Golden Wonder has launched its first new product following its takeover by Longulf ­ Chinese takeaway-inspired Sweet & Sour flavoured crisps. The new company, set to be called Golden Wonder, claims the flavour is a first for the UK's £2bn bagged snacks market. It chose the flavour on the back of research showing that Chinese food is still among the most popular types of food in Britain. Golden Wonder marketing director Kirsty Taylor said: "This has real consumer appeal."
