Asda Wal-Mart has sold its 204,000 sq ft Orbital Shopping Park development in Haydon, north Swindon, to British Land for around £53m. The price reflects an initial yield of around 6.5%. Final price will depend on rent achieved for the last lettings at the complex, due for completion in October. Three quarters of the complex has been let and tenants include Homebase, Comet, Next and JJB Sports. The park, which has open A1 planning consent, adjoins Asda Wal-Mart's 152,500 sq ft Supercentre, which opened last year. Colliers CRE advised Asda Wal-Mart while Harvey Spack Field acted for British Land. {{PROPERTY }}
