Booths claims premium meat sales have shot up 80% since introducing new vacuum skin packs.

Within three months of introducing the Linpac Packaging-made packs across its premium beef and lamb range, volume sales of some lines had soared 80%, it said.

VSP reduced the amount of “unsightly” juices on show and had a premium look, said Booths fresh meat and manufacturing manager Nigel Cokell. “The increase in sales since the packs were introduced in store shows our customers agree.”
