Waitrose has rolled out a new selection of own label artisan savoury bakery products as an upmarket alternative to pizza, ready meals and pies.

Produced by Deli Sante, the French-inspired pre-packed products include a Quiche Lorraine and Pear & Roquefort Tart (rsps: £5.99/500g) under the Menu from Waitrose brand.

The supermarket has also rolled out a Sausage & Onion Quiche (rsp:£2.49/400g), two puff pastry tarts – Cherry Tomato, Mozzarella & Basil Pesto; and Portobello Mushroom, Bacon & Cheddar (£3.49/350g) - and Roasted Pepper & Chorizo Tartlets (£3.49/260g) as part of its core range.

All the lines are fully cooked and can be either re-heated or consumed cold.
