Sussex brewer Dark Star is making its first foray into lager with a Helles-style brew.
The 4.2% abv beer has launched in a 330ml can, with an eye to securing listings in regional multiples and specialist bottle shops. Consumers were “looking for something different from the big, generic brands” said Dark Star MD James Cuthbertson.
The lager had a “clean” taste with “some sweetness” said the brand, and would be accompanied by PoS this month.
